Belo Horizonte nightlife: clubs, pubs, cafes, bars, theatres and cinemas
Belo Horizonte is the place to go to when you want to have a good night out. The people in Brazil and especially in Belo Horizonte know how to have a good time. The city is packed with venues to have a good time in. Because there are much more than 10,000 bars the New York Times calls it "the bar capital of Brazil". But bars aren't the only places to go to, there are nightclubs, cybercafe's, rock concerts, techno, house parties, carnival, parades and (movie) theatres. Belo Horizonte's nightlife is a bit like the Amsterdam nightlife. Some venues start at 16.00 and end around 04.00. Belo Horizonte has several areas where to go to: Rua da Bahia between Avenida Afonso Pena and Praca da Estacao Rua Rio de Janeiro and Avenida Augusto de Lima Rua Guajajaras between Rua Espirito Santo and Rua da Bahia Savassi and neighbouring Funcionarios Barro Preto. |
